The Emergency Food Assistance Program

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a Federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans, including elderly people, by providing them with emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost. You are automatically eligible for TEFAP if you are receiving Nutrition Assistance Benefits.

Commodities Food Bank provides Food Boxes. Effective September 9th the TEFAP program will operate out of the Yarnell Food Pantry - every second Friday of the month from 9 am to 12 noon. Contact the YCC to see what documentation you need in order to get a food box. You can also learn more by visiting the TEFAP website.
