The Yarnell Community Center (Yarnell Senior Citizens, Inc.), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are a regional community service organization offering the Meals-On-Wheels nutrition and wellness visit program, weekday lunches, a thrift shop, local event promotion, senior wellbeing workshops, health checks and various social activities such as dance, games and Zumba. We are a meeting place for county and other government agencies in addition to hosting community meetings such as the Yarnell-Peeples Valley Chamber of Commerce. We are also the polling site for all local and national elections.
The Center was founded by three ladies on March 3, 1975. The Center was later moved to Main Street then moved again to the present location in March 1986. We thank these founders for their vision. Our mission's two key points are senior basic needs, especially being disabled or food insecure and community quality of life.
